extremely brief episodes (2007-09-14)

Watch the best part of your life — why bother living it?

Everything’s better on TV, especially if it has nothing to do with what’s going on in your life.

Don’t get me wrong — I love Ellen Degeneres. I’m just so disappointed in the slogan the marketing guys are using.

Twitter with me in this moment and others after the jump.

Movies, TV, Music — the Arts

  • John Hancock still tying up Hollywood & Highland. Cars parked in opposite directions. Window smashed. Very much a action scene. #
  • Billboard for Ellen: “I watch because she’s my BFF.” And the superscript: “Watch the best part of your day.” Why not live it? #
  • Prince reclaims the internet? Or just his art? #
  • OJ Simpson is a suspect in a robbery. He’s cooperating. So maybe he didn’t do that crime. Would be ironic if he were convicted of something. #

Around Town

  • Transit authorities on a major Friday rush hour sting at Hollywood & Highland. A cadre of officers writing tickets to over 10 fare dodgers. #
