Are these people really celebrities?
You tell me. I’m like the average bear, except slightly less average.
If you saw any of these people on the street, would you: (a) recognize them (b) tell anyone you knew that you’d seen a celebrity?
Granted, the first guy is pretty well known. I know his name. I thought he was the gentleman behind those great hair products in the early 80s when I was a wee Weho-wannabe. But, member of the great unwashed that I am, I’m not so clear on his cultural or cult significance unless I wikipedia it.
The middle guy I don’t know at all. Nor do I recognize the chick in the green. But she looks like she should be famous. She’s pretty fantastic the more I read about her.
Reading through the list of speakers, there’s one guy I think would blip as a celebrity for even the trailer-park denizens, a group of which I’m an honorary member.
