Brief Episode

So I ran across this image in my surfing.  Harry Potter in the arm’s of Draco Malfoy.  I googled and found many, many copies of the image.  But not one credited the artist or said anything about the artist.  I kept looking and found the image was one of many.

The artist goes by the name of Eneada and appears to be located in Russia and identifies herself on LifeJournal as 23 years old.

She has an online gallery of Harry Potter images that she calls Slash.  All homo-erotic, mostly male (yes, there’s actually one of Hermione with Cho, Harry’s female crush from the films).

The image concepts aside, what sort of fascinates me is understanding what, exactly they are.  Are they photo-realistic drawings? Photographs that have been edited with Photoshop, to merge a movie still with models posed and a patina of shadow and color superimposed? I recommend the whole site, although, of course, the caveat about racy content and some odd or disturbing pairings (young Sirius & young Jim Potter or Draco and his father, etc.).
