Brief Appearance: Twitter Marketing 101

I like this video for its production values. Don’t worry about your accent! You sound fine.
I was hoping this would be more about what to do when you have a blog that’s been going on for a while and a Twitter account that’s been going on for a while. Instead, this was more of a “how to get started with Twitter” which is fine, too.
A tip I’d add to this is that @ replies are good in Twitter for relationships, but that they should have their own value out of context. Meaning, if you always write @ replies to others that require someone else follow the whole thread, it’s not as good a tweet.
Similarly, on the techniques side of things, TwitterTools allows you to exclude @ replies from your sidebar and Twitter posts in WordPress, and I think this makes the output to the blog more useful.
