- Saturday night makes me realize BlackBerry & iPhone are not equal. Can you order & enjoy iPhone vodka with soda? No! BlackBerry beats iPhone #
- Obama just emailed me about the bail out plan. Dude! You’re in! The plan sucks! Leave me alone on Saturday night unless we’re doing shots! #

- had a scare with my Dad’s health today. Things are ok but not great. Looks like I’ll be taking time away from work for a little bit. #
- in awe at how classic movies have a transportive effect during times of stress. Example A: Auntie Mame. Example B: Aliens. #
- even though some of my favorite people don’t like or evening tolerate texting, not sure how I’d emotionally survice without kind texts. #
- although not the first fan of telephonic contact, really kinda digging how certain friends call when there’s a little personal drama. #
- relaxing into a chill Los Angeles evening after a day of Dad. #
- hanging with a buddy I met through Twitter. He’s so cool, not sure how he found my updates but very glad. #
- amused because a friend is logged into Google Latitude & we’re hanging out & yet we look like we’re 5 blocks apart! His GPS is bad on Storm. #
- love how Sci Fi network texts me every Thursday with quizes about last week’s episode. I could play text quiz all day. Nerd, that’s me! #
- deciding right now whether to keep subscribed to CNN & New York Times text message alerts. Bad news to my phone isn’t fun at all! #
- deciding to found a support group for first time Kindle orderers waiting with baited breath for February 25th. Nah. #
- ruminating for a month on the iPhone versus BlackBerry. One’s the best palm held web & internet application, the other best email/texter. #
- realizing part of the reason I love meeting people is (1) I live to hear & tell stories & (2) I love love esoterica. #
- watching last night’s Battlestar Galactica. Again. What a great episode! As good as Downloaded from season three. #
- saw possibly most offensive dating ad ever for OnlineBootyCall.com. Offended & shocked! How do I set up an account? #
- just found out something is very wrong with my BlackBerry Curve. It rebooted with a new battery in less than two minutes. It never does that #
- saw He’s Just Not That Into You with joe after Bassa Noca & now we’re bar hopping. Great way to spend a day! #
- Missing Person & Unidentified Body resource Namus goes online this month. #
- seeing Anderson Cooper at Basix in West Hollywood with a very studly Gold’s Gym personal trainer & fitness model & married father Johnny. #
- listening to forensice anthropologist Dr. Emily Craig: “You can go from a living person to a skeleton in two weeks.” Really? Hungry worms! #
- seeing the fantastic Wilson Cruz at Staples makes a second celeb sighting in a handful of hours. Saw him in “He’s Just Not That Into You.” #
- coined a new term. Vexting, the act of texting while vexed. #
- grabbing a quick bite between phone calls & errands for Dad. Next trick: finding an electric razor that’s elderly friendly (big buttons). #
- tv chimp brutally attacks woman, is shot dead. Why wasn’t Christian Bale shot for his attack? #
- at Bank of America, traded a ripped $10 bill in for two $5s. Asked for two twenties to share in the BofA bail out but they demurred. #
- reaching the sad point of the 24 hour cycle where the battery life of my BlackBerry is exceeded by my expected time for this set of tasks. #
- learned today that Medicare numbers append letters to your Social Security number while Medicaid (Medi-Cal here) are totally different. #
- also learned today that Best Buy sells razors ranging from $40 to $225 & the $40 razor is for men but not for men’s faces. #
- loathes to admit that sometimes the best errands to run are the ones done by phone & not by foot, by car or by plane. #
- remembering BlackBerry (smart phone) Secret #129.5 — being on hold isn’t so bad when your handset also surfs & texts! #
- learned a new term today for bones: stress fracture. Amazing, isn’t it, that just by being stressed, your bones can break! #
- Learned today that people with pace makers sometimes are turned away by MRI facilities. #
