Nevertheless, the maps are kind of cool.

I object to the name of the site — it should be titled the Marriage Inequality site if it’s talking about DOMA.

Andrew Sullivan has a condition for forgiveness for President Clinton:

Clinton’s recorded message went to millions of Californians overnight. If he makes the difference, we can finally forgive him for DOMA. But seriously: a great thing. He came through. I won’t forget. None of us will.

The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan (October 31, 2008) – Thank You, Bill Clinton.

I disagree. The three most malefic national personalities on the political stage today for marriage equality are (in order of maleficiousness):

Bob Barr

Bill Clinton

Mitt Romney

Barr, for authoring DOMA. Clitnon for signing DOMA. And Mitt Romeny for finding a racist law empowering the import of anti-miscegenation laws into Massachusetts to deny marriage equality to couples after the Goodrich decision.

Clinton also has the distinction of bungling Don’t Ask Don’t Tell to make serving more difficult for our troops, particularly all women in our armed forces, where its application is used as a witch-hunt for women unwilling to have sex with their comrades and superiors.

I don’t think recording a voice over for a robo call will do the trick. Remember, Clinton campaigned on his signing DOMA.

According to Sullivan, a robocall before election day would forgive him, if Proposition 8 fails.

According to his colleague Marc Ambinders, robocalls don’t work.

Sorry Bill, too little, too late.
